I have been helping people as long as I can remember. I am grateful to have met more people with hearts like mine. Today, Tu-Sha Niecy Smith, Tudy Jackson, myself and some people who believe in the same vision met one morning. We took our kids out along with us to feed the homeless. We gave away hot sandwiches and gloves.
The purpose is to come together and help one person at a time. It is good for children to observe their parents helping and giving back to their community. Hopefully when they are old they will continue the cycle. It helps to build a brighter future for them. I think we accomplished our goals that day.
I am so thankful for life.
My purpose in this world is to help others.
